Creating a Community of Learners

Creating a Community of Learners

Through social interactions and hands-on activities, children will acquire Spanish language skills naturally. In addition to this, they will be exercising their observation and problem-solving skills as they learn to apply newly acquired language skills in different situations.

Success, Nothing Less

We promote learning through role-play and companionship with children and teachers, which allows them to develop character and grow in how they interact with others. To give children every possible advantage as they move on to elementary school and beyond, qualified teachers teach all our classes in Spanish. And the team at CEI Preschool looks forward to preparing the next generation to be as successful as they can be.

Mission

Here at CEI Preschool, our mission is to immerse children in the Spanish language and culture while learning and discovering new things through fun activities.

Vision

CEI Preschool partners with parents in their child’s education, supporting them to help their children understand themselves and others. Our vision is equipping your child with personal respect and a positive attitude in life.

Why Choose Us?

We strive to provide learning experiences to help children grow in social, emotional, intellectual, and physical skills. By using hands-on activities exploring different subjects while interacting in Spanish, we focus on helping children develop learning skills and tools they can use for the rest of their school careers.

A Great Place to Learn

A Great Place to Learn

Infants (6 weeks to 12 months)

CEI Preschool teachers create a safe, clean, and warm environment pleasing your child in a positive relationship between infants, parents, and teachers.

Our low ratio allows interaction with the teacher in a healthy atmosphere that helps develop skills while playing, singing, touching, and feeling the world around them. Our program is focused on language acquisition, as well as physical, social, and cognitive development. Linguists explain the importance of why babies learn one language over another by listening to the surrounding humans. For this very reason, our enrichment program in Spanish allows opening all senses in early infancy.

Toddlers (1 to 2)

Toddlers are young learners who want to discover the world around them. Their curiosity drives them to get abilities to collaborate and communicate, exploring how to sing, dance, jump, and more. Therefore, CEI Preschool provides more than just daycare for toddlers; we help children grow and learn during the transition from infancy to being mobile and independent.

Our program is an introduction to routines, positive guidance, and confidence-building. Our plan is focused on language, physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development. All this while still immersed in the Spanish language.

Early Preschool (2 to 3)

Early preschoolers are ready for routines and positive guidance. Perseverance and overcome obstacles are some of their qualities, which are essential to children's success. Every classroom is designed to develop children verbally counting, grouping items, and demonstrating an understanding of number operations, associating numbers, understanding turn-taking, engaging in imaginative play with dramatic arts, and more.

This program is designed to improve early skills immersion in the Spanish world.

Preschool (3 to 4)

Preschoolers are ready to demonstrate executive function skills, classifying objects, suggesting solutions, and remaining focused on a task.

Our teachers encourage preschoolers to engage in all activities and follow directions by themselves. Through our lesson plans, children are allowed to learn from their teachers and interact with other children. As well, they are engaged with pre-reading and pre-writing. Our program immersion in Spanish helps them understand the difference between Spanish and their home language through various techniques that develop language, physical, social-emotional, and cognitive skills.

Pre-Kinder (4 to 5)

Young learners continue their journey by developing social-emotional intelligence. They will demonstrate executive function skills by classifying objects by color, shapes, and size, which help critical thinking.

Our program will demonstrate how immersed they are in the language when using math concepts by counting 10 to 20 or more and demonstrating executive functions skills.

Liliana Martínez

Liliana Martínez

Assistant Director

My name is Liliana Martínez, I was born in Zacatecas, I am 27 years old and married without children. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, when I was 15, about to turn 16. I started my first job as a cashier at a small grocery store and worked there for almost 2 years. Then we moved to Kyle, Texas.

I started working at Walmart as a toy sales associate. After obtaining my GED, I got the position of toy supervisor. I was promoted to manager at Walmart and worked as a manager for 2 years. After working at Walmart for almost 7 years, I made the decision to look for something better for me. While working at Walmart, I took the dental assistant course, but I never thought that I would be so interested in working with children until I applied to work at CEI Preschool.

I started as a floater, working only 3 hours a day, and that's where my passion for working with children arose. I love what I do and always strive for excellence.

My name is Marlin Escandón, I was born in Venezuela and I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I love to smile, be friendly, and be able to help others diligently and empathetically.

I graduated from the P.E.L University in the Vargas state headquarters in Venezuela, as a Specialist Teacher in Preschool Education. It is a privilege for me to be surrounded every day by the purest love of children, who with a look, gesture, or hug make me love even more what I do. The commitment and challenge involved in teaching children is what motivates me, and although I am in another country and everything is different, it has not been an obstacle.

I work according to the needs and interests of my students, respecting the biological and social process of each child, focusing on them being the protagonists of their learning in favor of a constructivist education, discipline without tears, and limits!

Wendy Orozco

Wendy Orozco

Director

Hello, my name is Wendy Orozco. I was born and raised in Tepatitlán, Jalisco, Mexico. I am the youngest of a family of 5 made up of my parents, a brother, and an older sister. In 2009, I moved to Guadalajara to start college and, 5 years later, I managed to obtain my degree in Business Administration. Shortly after graduating, the opportunity arose to move to Austin, Texas.

I have been working with children since 2016. I started as a teacher's assistant and soon realized that working with children was my passion. Seeing them learn and master new things, being close to them, helping them become more independent, and achieving or surpassing their goals gives me the satisfaction of getting up every day.

Currently, life and CEI Preschool have given me the opportunity to be a director and one of my goals is to maintain an environment where children feel safe and loved while they are away from their parents, but also an environment where parents and staff feel welcome, safe, and connected.

I want to thank you all in advance for entrusting your children to us. We will do our best to keep them safe and happy while you have to be absent.

Administrative Assistant

My name is Yahaira Orozco, I was born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, and I am 26 years old. At 17, I moved to Farmington, New Mexico. I finished high school and attended San Juan College to study design and cosmetology, although I did not finish my career.

I love working with children. When I was 18, I started working with my dad in a clown show, where I was the DJ and in charge of painting the little ones' faces. We realized that we really enjoyed interacting with children and it made us happy to make them happy. What started as a hobby became a stable job, we had presentations from time to time, not only in our city but also in other states that hired us.

I really enjoy being part of the CEI Preschool team. Thank you for allowing me to work with your children and teach them with love and fun.
